The InteraQuest team believes strongly in the potential of our vision and has invested considerable personal time and capital to develop these concepts. The company has built basic testbeds to evaluate several potential user interfaces and game experiences. This has given us confidence we can overcome the critical challenges.
At present, we are seeking additional funding to develop the concepts and acquire state of the art third party software tools. Our next steps are to advance a few of the interpersonal user interface elements to the state where they can undergo clinical focus testing. As we are assured of the efficacy of our approach, we will develop additional elements until the overall product is completed.
We believe our concepts and approach can appeal to either commercial or philanthropic investors. While we are currently organized as an LLC, we are open to transforming our legal structure to fit with the needs of interested institutions, including not-for-profit status. We have contacted non-profit foundations, private capital and publishing companies to gauge the best method to achieve success.
We are looking for funding in several ways: non-profit foundations, technology collaboration companies, and equity investors. We are currently applying to several non-profit foundations for funding and concept validation. We are also looking for partnerships that could augment our funding and also provide technical expertise, marketing, focus testing, etc. Ideally, we prefer to collaborate with a company that currently serves the kids-to-teens market with learning products. At the proper time, partnering with a video game publisher for production and distribution of the game is also possible.
We have extensive interest from the psychiatric community in testing any elements we develop and funding for these studies is a priority for us. Our goal is to tie our talent in creating top-notch entertainment with clear results. We are looking for organizations with a clinical psychiatric group who would like to participate in efficacy testing of the product.
The project development steps we envision are:
